Our Story

SunCoast Blinds has been prioritizing quality products, professional installations and the customer experience above all else since 1992. This has been the foundation of SunCoast Blind’s work since its inception. This is the reason why we are not tied to one specific brand, instead, selecting the best product for each specific need. We always make sure to educate our customers so they can make the best selection for their home.

Today SunCoast Blinds boasts two locations. Our parent and original foundation in Bonita Springs, Florida. And as of 2017 right here in the Fort Wayne/Huntertown in Northeast Indiana. Come see us at our showroom and see what we are all about!

Our Team

Dave starting expressing his excitement for the world of Window Fashions to his lifelong friend Ben in 2015. And after years of training from his best friend and mentor, Dave officially opened his own SunCoast Blinds in 2017. Bringing 30 years of knowledge from Florida to the state of Indiana, Dave prides himself in keeping the SunCoast brand just as strong here, as it is in Florida. When he’s not vigorously training and educating himself in the industry, Dave spends his free time with his beautiful wife, newborn son, and three rotten puppies. Oh, and golfing of course.

Caleb joined the SunCoast family in 2020 and has quickly rose to being an installation specialist as well as a motorization guru. Paired with his great work ethic and eagerness to learn you can see why he has become such an invaluable asset to the team. Ask Caleb and he will tell you his greatest love is being a father of two adorable children and spending as much time as he can with them.

Our Cause

Raising money, helping kids in need through Shop with a Cop

SunCoast Blinds is passionate about supporting the work of The Lee County Sheriff’s Office Bonita Springs Community Policing Unit annual Christmas Charity Fundraiser.

All money collected benefits needy elementary students of Bonita Springs. These students enter an essay contest and are selected by teachers and deputies from the Community Policing Unit. The money raised last year benefited 18 students selected to Shop with a Cop at Target. For Christmas season 2022, SunCoast Blinds has set a goal of doubling the number of kids who get to participate.

“Growing up I was a recipient of programs like this so I can’t explain how much something like this means to me personally. Additionally, the positive interaction the kids get to have with the officers can be life-changing” Says Ben Crotteau, President of SunCoast Blinds.

We encourage our clients to help us fight childhood poverty in our area with a little bit of Christmas cheer through this program.
